Start your morning off with these delicious protein-packed pancakes.

These are my favorite protein pancakes to have in the morning for breakfast or even as a post workout snack! These pancake are filled with yummy ingredients that make eating healthy easy because they taste oh so good! My personal favorite protein powder brand is from Tone It Up, for this recipe I used their cinnamon roll flavor, but I am absolutely in love with all of their flavors, but use any protein powder of your liking.
Ingredients for one pancake:
-3 tbsp of homeade oat flour
-1 scoop of protein powder
-1 egg or 1/4 cup of egg whites
-2 tbsp of unsweetened almond milk
-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-2 tsp pure maple syrup + extra for drizzled topping
-sliced up fruit of choice: strawberries, blueberries, banana, etc
Instructions:
1. Make "oat flour" the cheap way. Rather than going out and buying oat flour from a pricey whole foods store, buy a cheap canister of old fashion oats, throw them in a blender, and there you have oat flour! I use oat flour not only for pancakes, but for any other baked goods as a quick and easy substitute for white flour.
2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until smooth.
3. Heat up your pan, spray with coconut oil pam spray or melt a little coconut oil on the pan.
4. Pour all pancake batter into the pan and cook on low heat for about 3 minutes each side.
5. Add fruit of your choice + a little drizzle of pure maple syrup.
ENJOY!!!!!
